People who Contributade to the Production of the Trumpet
Considering the long history reaching all the way back to A.D. 1095-1270 there were many models of the trumpet. Each different model had a different creator. In 1750 Anton Joseph Hampel of Dresden suggested placing the hand in the bell to solve the problem. In 1777 Michael Woggel and Johann Andreas Stein bent the trumpet to make it easier for the players hand to reach the bell. The problem was that it was hard to produce different tones and dynamics. Although this created more problems than it solved, the only good solution was to create valves.
The first attempt of making valves for the trumpet was Charles Clagget in 1788, however, his was not the most successful. Another attempt was in 1818 by Heinrich Stoelzel and Friedrich Bluhmel. These two individuals invented the box tubular valve, which later lead to the valve we now use today. Joseph Reidlin Invented the rotary valve in 1832, this particular valve however is only still popular in Eastern Europe. It was Francois Perinet in 1839 who improved the tubular valve to invent the piston valved trumpet, the most commonly used trumpet today.
All of these men , helped to make the trumpet what it is today, if it weren't for any of their contributions we would not have the great product that we now use all the time!
